On 24 March 2023, The Minister of Finance published the Income Tax (Amendment of Monetary Amounts) Regulation (Legal Notice No.23 of 2023), containing the new tax rates effective 1 April 2023:
• the tax credit has been adjusted from M10 560.00 to M10 824.00 per annum, and
• the first tax bracket increased from M67 440.00 to M69 120.00 per annum.
