Brand your Deel Local Payroll, powered by PaySpace - How the white-labelling concept works

White-label software is an increasingly popular concept and ultimately means that the Deel Local Payroll product developed and maintained by Deel Local Payroll, powered by PaySpace are rebranded by an Authorised Agent to make it appear to be their own.

Payroll & HR service providers (Agents) can now, among other things, allow their clients to access the provider’s own website and capture their input, access their payslips and tax certificates, apply for leave and self-manage their entire payroll and HR cycles with minimal effort.

The technical part of white-labelling

White-Label Website Setup with Deel Local Payroll

A Deel Local Payroll consultant will guide you through registering and setting up your company on our white-label platform. As part of this setup, we will register a unique sub-domain for your company, which typically takes one to two days.

This sub-domain acts as your dedicated website URL and is customizable to your business. For example, we own a generic domain — www.payus.co.za — that hosts no content and exists solely to support white-label sub-domains. If your company is called “Demo Accountants,” your website could be https://demo.payus.co.za. This becomes your branded Payroll and HR platform, which you can link from your existing website or share directly with customers.

Required Training for White-Label Agents

All white-label partners must complete the Deel Local Payroll Essentials and Advanced Training. This training covers our PaySpace-powered solution, preparing you to manage client data securely and efficiently using your personal login.

Once training is completed, all platform outputs — including reports, payslips, and emails — will feature your company branding. For example:

Your logo appears on reports and payslips.
Emails sent from the system, such as payslip deliveries, will include your company contact details.
There will be no reference to Deel Local Payroll or PaySpace visible to your clients.

Our support team remains fully available to assist with any technical or functional questions, but your clients will contact you directly for support.

Custom Access and Client Self-Service

Deel Local Payroll, powered by PaySpace, features a robust security model. You can tailor client access permissions to specific modules or screens. For instance, if you’d prefer to manage certain HR or payroll functions yourself, you can restrict client access to those areas — allowing visibility only into reports and leave balances, for example.

This enables a true self-service experience for your clients:

No need to manually send reports or payslips.
Clients can securely log in to access all relevant data themselves.

For a unique login experience including a custom branded background image, you can refer to the following document that will guide you on which images you will need to create and upload.

Via the administration panel created you will be able to customise colours related to the navigation bar and icons inside the portal to complement your brand identity.
